Will there be any offroad or onroad this coming summer? I know a lot of the Rock Springs guys were very disappointed this last summer. Even if there isn't going to be a full schedule, at least host a onroad and offroad trophy race... you guys have a great facility and it would suck to waist it again this year. I know how much work it is building and running a track... not bitchin here, just asking.

In anticipation of building up the off-road track last year, we had torn out the electrical lines running to both tracks. That is one of the reasons why we didn't have any races.

Additionally in on-road, for the majority of the summer the on-road track had a 4" crack that would have killed any on-road cars trying to drive across it. The crack ran the entire length of the track.

Now for the good news...

WE HAVE THE DIRT! Over the past couple of months, we have been getting a steady supply of dirt, and will be having several work days this spring to get things up and running. Once the dirt is spread, we plan on running the new electrical line.

Also, last year the crack on the on-road track has been fixed, and the track is resealed. Additionally, we have new barriers for the on-road track that I built last year.

After we have electricity, we'll then schedule races. My hope is that we can get things rolling by May or June at the latest.

Against the rumors, the club still exists, and offers RC fun by land, sea, pavement, foam, and air (indoors and outdoors). We have gotten some new blood that will also hopefully prevent us from getting so burned out.
