 Post subject: what does this require?

so the block cracked on my 4.6, so i ordered the 5.9 but now im wondering. what else do i need to make it fit correctly? (spur gear, differential, clutch bell, pinion, etc) whats required or does it drop into the 4.6 with no problem?

I'd go to the HPI website and download the manual for the Savage X 5.9 (if it's available yet). Compare it with your manual and see what part numbers are different and which one's are the same.

So you're keeping the Sav eh? :D

I helped your father with the choice for your new motor Saturday at RC Planes. Its a bolt in process, Exact same motor , other than its bigger .28 vs .32 . Even the starter assembly off the HPI motor will interchange with the Axial motor.

I have figured out how to get the oil out , just a problem getting it back in. =))

Toms kidding. Its as real as muffler bearings! Its keeps the cells lubed up so under extreme running conditions the cells dont heat up and explode :twisted: =))

Also, muffler bearings and e-nos are on sale now better buy! Its a great deal! :lol:
